I think we as believers too often forget the power we have through God’s Word and Christ in us. 2 Timothy 1:7 says “For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of sound mind." Just the other night, one of the kids was very upset about something. Satan was really working on them. The SECOND I started reciting verses, guess what happened? They calmed down. Their breathing evened out. They were not so upset. Not because of me, but because of the POWER of God’s living Word. Satan, the father of lies, flees from the power and light of God’s Word. It is so POWERFUL!!!

Speak the Word out loud. Especially when Satan is attacking. Saturate your mind with His Word because if your mind is full of TRUTH, Satan’s LIES have nowhere to rest.
